ThEstablishment Branch is headed by Dr. Suman Vashisth designated as Deputy Registrar, who is reemployed after superannuation with university experience of more than 35 years. Establishment branch of university deals with all establishment matters (recruitments, selections, appointments, confirmation, promotions, retirements etc.) of the University. The office is discharging the duties and function on establishment matters under the kind control and direction of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor and Worthy Registrar as per the provisions of University Act & Statutes, University Calendar, the Executive Council decisions and other rules as applicable.

The academic branch is headed by Dr Naveen Goyal, Deputy Registrar who has good prior experience of academics as well as academic administration and is supported by other staff as per requirements. The Academic Branch of University handles various types of Academic matters as per University Act, University Calendars and Ordinances.
General branch of the university is headed by Dr. Vanadana Handa, Deputy Registrar. The Branch deals with university functions being organized in the university campus from time to time, allotment of all vehicles, procurement and supply of day to day utility items to various branches / departments as per requirement, canteen allotment, providing space to various offices/departments, security arrangements including home guards, fire safety arrangements, telephone bills, postage and speed post and any other work assigned by University administration from time to time. The General Branch is also required to make all necessary arrangements during the visits of high dignitaries who visit the Campus.

The purchase function of the branch is looked after by Dr. Vanadana Handa as Deputy Registrar. The branch handles various purchases of the University. The University is newly established, it needs to purchase large number of articles to keep pace with the growing demands for creating world class infrastructure. The purchases in the University are being made as per requirement of various departments/branches after obtaining necessary sanctions from the authority. The branch coordinated the consolidation of purchase requirements of different teaching departments and administrative branches and thereafter, put up the proposals before the Central Purchase Committee.

The College branch works under the guidance of Dr Aman Kumar, Dean of Colleges. For its day to day functioning, the branch is headed by Dr Subham Gandhi, Assistant Registrar. This Branch of university constantly works in coordination with their affiliated Colleges/Institutes for overall development of the students. The main aim of the branch is to maintain academic and physical infrastructure in the affiliating colleges/ institute for complete development of the students. Presently Gurugram University has 24 affiliated colleges/institutions under the jurisdiction. This branch of the university is responsible for appointment of Principals/Acting Principal/Vice‐Principal in Colleges. Branch also deals with queries regarding appointment of teachers and service matters thereof. Placement/Promotion of teachers, constitution of Governing Bodies, managing Committees of the Colleges/Institution, appointment of E.C. Nominee, University Representatives, Teacher Representatives on the Governing Bodies of the college, circular/advisory to colleges as received from various Government Agencies are also the responsibilities of the branch.
College branch of the university arranges the need based and periodical inspections of their affiliated Colleges/Institutes to maintain the quality education. After review of inspection reports, branch suggests remedies for discrepancies and irregularities. Branch helps the Colleges/Institutes in the exchange of information with the various statuary bodies, besides giving effect to the latest rules and regulations of the University /UGC/AICTE/NCTE and other regulatory bodies. All 24 affiliated colleges under the university have different courses of bachelors and master degrees’ this branch is responsible for their academic and physical infrastructures with the aim of providing quality education.

The IT cell works under the supervision of Dr. Naveen Goyal, Deputy Registrar. The University has developed the IT cell to provide the ICT based infrastructure to all the members of the University such as Teaching, Non-teaching staff and students.

The Examination wing of the university functions under the overall control of Dr. Naveen Goyal, holding the charge of Controller of Examination in addition to his primary duty as Professor and Dean of Faculty of Law. The branch is also endowed with experienced staff superannuated from other universities and regular staff of the university. The Examination Branch mainly deals with the appointment of paper setters, examiners, moderators, senior supervisors, preparation and publication of schedule of examinations, conduct of examinations, to get performance of the Students at the examinations properly assessed and timely declaration of results and awarding degrees, diplomas and certificates.
The branch also supports the establishment branch of university by way of conducting several entrance tests for recruitment and selection of employees against sanctioned posts.

The department of youth and cultural affairs is headed by Dr Neelam Vashisth as Dean of Student Welfare. The scope of department encompasses cultural activities and other student welfare programs in order to strengthen the department. The Dean Student Welfare is assisted by two officers in the positions of Director Youth Welfare and Advisor, Youth Welfare, Ms. Falak Khanna and Sh. Janardhan Sharma respectively.

The NSS unit is headed by Dr. TarunDhull as coordinator and Dr. Neelam Vashist as the NSS officer. The unit was established on 18-09-2019 and presently 100 students’ 52 boys 48 girls are enrolled.
