Acheivement

a. The Email address on domain (gurugramuniversity.ac.in) for University Departments/Branches/officials of the University has been successfully created and at present and emails on domain of gurugramuniversity.ac.in is provided to all employees/branches/departments/offices.

b. The Website is fully designed, maintained and developed in-house. The outlook and the content in the website is also changed as per requirement.

c. The software for the management of center store is developed in-house and will be functional soon.

d. The process of implementing Digi-locker as per the guidelines of Higher Education the Cell has completed the uploading of Degrees of students of session 2018-2020 and 2019-2020.

e. The cell has achieved the goal of providing WI-FI connectivity to all the Departments/Branches/Offices of the University at 100MBPS speed.

f. Procured the ICT tools such as projectors, laptops, printers, computers etc. and made available to the Departments/ Offices/ Branches for the smooth functioning of the offices and teaching learning activities.

g. This cell has also made two Wi-Fi enabled Computer Labs in the basement area of campus and on the second floor for the student’s practical coursework, online exams and research work.

h. Server rooms are set up in the basement with two dedicated server, for the data centralization, safety and security.

i. The cell coordinates with the ERP service provider for all the updates to be made in the portals as per requirement.

j. The cell also manages the Bandwidth of University Network for the fast and smooth office work.

k. Discipline protocol set up for computer labs and instructions issued to students accordingly while using computer labs of the University.

• ICT Infrastructure Management:
• I. Provided ICT support in each and every event of the University such as Seminars, conferences, MOU’s, cultural Programs, and the Youth festival.
• II. Management of IT threats by implementing antivirus and firewall is in progress.
