The Dean Students’ Welfare is assisted by one senior Officers Dr. Renu Chaudhary in the position of Director Youth Welfare. The scope of department encompasses cultural activities, General Observation Day and other student welfare programs in order to strengthen the department. The bus pass facilities are being provided to the bonafied students of UTDs. The department shares the expenditure of educational tours organized by various departments, colleges under Gurugram University. The office has established various clubs for holistic development of students like Music club, Dance club, Literary club, Fine Arts club, Theatre club, Sir CV Raman Scientific Club, Robotic club, Sports and Yoga Club, Vivekananda club, Coding Club etc. The Students’ Welfare office has recently launched University Youth Red Cross for activities directed towards the service of mankind. The staff associated with University YRC is as follows:-

The following activities are being conducted by the department:

(1) Celebration of Important Days/Birthdays/Jayanti’s (2) Talent Search Program in UTD and Colleges (3) To organize the University Youth Festival every year (4) Participation of Cultural Contingents of University in AIU North Zone and National Youth Festivals (5) Participation of University Teams in Cultural Meets organized by other Universities of State/Centre (6) Celebration of Teej/Deepawali/Fagun/Vasant Festivals, Kavi Sammelam, Qawwali and other Cultural Program (7) Organizes various sports activities: Inter-College Tournaments, UTD competitions and participation of UTD in AIU North Zone sports tournaments.
