About Department

The Department of Neuroscience was established in 2019 at Gurugram University and it offers a platform for research and teaching towards understanding the structure and function of the brain. This is the first and only Post-Graduate Department among Haryana State Universities imparting interdisciplinary training to students leading to the award of M.Sc. Neuroscience degree. The courses being offered in the two years M.Sc. Neuroscience programme have been planned in such a way to provide a broad base in the subject and can be accepted in the diverse fields of life sciences. The department is also actively involved in collaborations with other departments of various Universities/Institutes for multidisciplinary research. The department is equipped with modern instrumentation as well as a good library. In the next 5 years the department hopes to build on this tradition and recruit faculty with diverse expertise across the broad discipline of neuroscience.
