About Department

The Department of Public Health follows the holistic approach to establish pedagogy which includes theoretical teaching, field work, community interaction, case studies and research works.Our department holds the vision of transforming students confident, sincere, dedicated Public Health professionals, who would be asset for our society.The curriculum of this course has been designedto educate students about various aspects of health followed by community interaction which would inculcate the value of social and ethical responsibilities in them. Apart from this, this course also promotes quality research to understand the statistics and scenario of health issues. Exposure of students with people in community allows them to strategize their tasks in community specific approach so that message conveyed to significant number of people.
