About Department
The Department of Political Science in the Faculty of Social Science was established in the year 2021, and the department offers Masters in political science and aims to acquaint the students with conceptual and practical understanding of the discipline.
The Department of Political Science with Founder Head, Associate Professor Dr. Annapurna Sharma also has one contractual and 3 guest Assistant Professors for teaching and guiding the students for fulfilling their intellectual needs. The course have been structured in a way that they introduce the students to the vast canvass of subjects that concern the discipline of political science. It will enable students to obtain in-depth understanding of the interdisciplinary curriculum . It will equip students to gain knowledge and have pragmatic experience to create social impact at various levels and even prepare for Civil Service Examination in India. Duration of course is 2 years and annual intake is 40. Eligibility Criteria is Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 45 % marks (42.75% in case of SC/ST/Divyang candidates of Haryana only) from a recognized university.

Bachelor Degree in any discipline with atleast 45% marks in aggregate (42.75% marks for SC/ST/ Blind/ Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana only) or any other examination from a recognized University10+2 Examination from Board of School Education, Haryana or of any other Board recognized as equivalent thereto, with a minimum of 45% (42.75% in case of SC/ST/ Divyang candidates of Haryana only). |
