About Department

The Establishment Branch deals with the service matters of the employees of the University. The office is discharging the duties and function on establishment matters under the kind control and directions of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor and worthy Registrar as per provisions of University Act & Statutes, University Calendars, The Executive Council decisions and other rules as applicable. It deals with employees’ promotion, transfer, retirement, sanction of leave (except CL & RH), seniority etc. Personal files of employees of the organisation are maintained and upgraded in this branch. Key functions of this branch are as follows:

  • All establishment matters of the University.
  • Recruitment of teaching and non-teaching employees of the University on regular and other type.
  • Service Matters of the regular / temporary employees.
  • Maintain Roster register.
  • All Types of Departmental Exam & Training Programme.
  • Deputation of the employees.
  • Financial help to the family of the employee died on duty.
  • To approve leaves and to send confidential report.
  • Keeping all service records of the regular employees.
  • The office maintains all the records in material and dematerialized forms.
  • The information and record regarding the office is provided to the seekers suo-moto and as and when so needed with the approval of the authority
  • To give N.O.C. for passport.
  • Various types of Inquiry and disciplinary action thereof.
  • Sanction of all kind of leaves (except CL & RH) and maintain Leave record (Except CL & RH) of all the regular employees.
  • Pay fixation of all regular employees and grant of annual increments.
