Message from Dean

The Faculty of Life Sciences at Gurugram University campus hails its core strength from well-qualified faculty, some of the brightest minds of the country and good laboratory facilities. Presently, under this faculty the following undergraduate and postgraduate programs are running B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy (Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Chemistry), B. Physiotherapy, Master in Physiotherapy (Orthopedics and Cardiopulmonary) and B.Sc. (Neuroscience) and M. Sc. (Public Health). The vision is to train and nurture manpower towards fundamental research in life science subjects leading to technology innovation and entrepreneurship. Along with ongoing collaborations with renowned national and international universities, we have signed various Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for carrying collaborative research in thrust areas as well as to promote exchange of faculty and students for mutual benefit.Projects offered in the various courses under life sciences includes study-oriented, lab-oriented and computer related projects which play a pivotal role in refining the strong theoretical background earned during earlier semesters. The rigors of labs and projects develop a student to deliver quality work within strict time constraint.We firmly believe in maintaining a healthy balance between curricular and extra co-curricular activities. Thus, the faculty not only encourages students to strive for excellence in various subjects but also support and motivate them for their overall development and a well-rounded personality.
