About NCC

With its headquarters in New Delhi, India, NCC is the Indian Armed Forces youth branch.As a Tri-service organisation made up of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, it is available to high school and college students on a volunteer basis and is dedicated to helping the nations young develop into disciplined and patriotic citizens.

Three colors—Red, Dark Blue, and Light Blue make up the NCC Emblem.The Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force are each represented by these colors.The 17 lotuses stand for India's 17 directories.

To give females who were in school or attending college equal opportunity, the Girls Division was established in 1949.

These three certifications are offered by NCC.In all the three certificates the attendance must be 75% of the total training period.

  • Certificate A- It can be taken by JD/ JW cadet of NCC during class 8th and 9th
  • Certificate B- It can be taken by SD/ SW cadet of NCC after class 10th and the students who are in first year.
  • Certificate C- It is highest level certificate for NCC cadets. It can be taken in the third year.

About NSS

National Service Scheme is a voluntary association of young students in department which provides service to society. During NSS activity, volunteers work for society which includes Tree Plantation, Blood Donation Camps, Swachhta Shiksha, Women Entrepreneurs, Save Girl Child, Education for all, Supply Food and Clothing to Natural Disaster Victims. NSS helps volunteers how to build or lead a life full of dignity and develops a sense of social responsibility & get the practical lessons of value education.
