STUDENT RULES

Books are issued for 14 days. Fine of Rs. 5/- per book/day will be charged after 14 days. Borrowers will be asked to pay or replace the book lost or returned in damaged or mutilated condition, he shall be liable to replace the book subject to satisfaction of the University Librarian/Convener or deposit current price of the book plus Rs. 50/- as processing fee plus Rs. 100/- as binding charges (If the lost book is binding) with fine as decided by the Librarian.

Silence shall be observed in the Library. Smoking/Spitting in the Library is strictly prohibited. Personal books, files etc. should be deposited at the property counter of the Library. Any student, who is found guilty of taking a book out of the library without authorization, shall be liable to withdrawal of library privileges and /or fine. The quantum of punishment shall be determined by the University Librarian, keeping in view the intention involved and the availability of proof.
